Speed 15th Ed. Lightning & Extra Turn Cards
Speed is one of the Pepys games that Gibsons retained when they took over the brand in 1984. In 1988, fifty years after the first publication of Speed, they added a new edition that has become known as "Speed 15th Edition" even though no number or edition is mentioned in the Gibsons version. I have adopted the use of "15th Edition" here as that is the name most used by collectors and was coined by Rex Pitts.
The Gibsons designed Speed totally changed the style of the cards but retained the game's format.
Speed 15 Ed. Rules
There is no full address give in the game just a postcode on the box base (and in some cases not even this). That postcode relates to Gibsons Games when they were trading from: Unit 9/Greenlea Park, Prince Georges Road, London, SW19 2RB.
To my knowledge there are no other documented versions of this game. At the time it was published in 1988 all Gibsons Games bore barcodes on their boxes.
An overview of every edition of Speed can be found here.
