The game is based on the classic Walt Disney animated film Pinocchio but this fact is not promoted on the box. "Walt Disney - Mickey Mouse Ltd" only gets a one line mention in the rules and the "Disney sketches" upon which the game is based are only mentioned in a small advert.
The only "branding" is the "Pepys Series" device on the box. There is no mention of Castell Brothers or their address in the rules but several Pepys games are advertised on the back cover and on an inside fold. In contemporary press advertising Castell Brothers were credited as the publishers.
