Farmyard Cries is a beautifully illustrated and amusing game. Racey Helps' cards feature numerous puns, jokes and allusions and the rules were also designed to promote noisy good cheer. This is the "Crying for the Young Rule":
"If a player manages to collect a 'Mother' card, a 'Where Found' card and a 'Breed' card they may cry for the 'Young' by imitating the call of the animal or bird concerned. Any player or players holding the required 'Young card' must give it, or them, to that player, who will then have won the round. The call to be made when crying for the 'Young' is the name given to the mother.
Crying for the 'Young can be done at any time in the game and it does not count as a turn. There is no penalty for unsuccessfully crying..."
There are two totally different boxes for Farmyard Cries, separated in publication by around a decade but the cards and rules are the same. Rather than treat the game as two different editions I have kept both entries on this page.

Both packs featured here were part of Rex Pitts' personal collection. The third box base is from another pack.
