I have dated the game to circa 1950. I don't think it was launched any later than that but it could have been first released in time for Christmas 1949.


The marbled tile backs are the same style used in many early Pepys games.


"By Permission Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Ltd" is the wording used on Disney licensed products of the late 1940s and early 1950s such as Mickey and the Beanstalk 1947. By 1951 the wording used was "Copyright Walt Disney Productions" as used in Donald's Circular Snap.


Two of the featured characters, Gus and Jaq, are from Disney's Cinderella which wasn't released until Feb 1950, although it was promoted from October 1949.
