Arthur Askey (1900-1982) was a very popular comedian who appeared frequently on Radio and TV over nealy fifty years, he also starred in a number of films. One of his catchphrases "Hello Playmates" is referenced in the name of this game and another "I thank you" is printed on the box above his autograph, spelt just as he pronounced it "AYTHANGYOW!".
